GANT is one of the latest apparel brands to arrive in Manila. If you’ve been keeping tabs on menswear this brand is well-loved especially their GANT Rugger and GANT by Michael Bastian lines. I was very excited when I found out that they opened shop here carrying both menswear and womenswear.
The prices are comparable to other brands but you get a different kind of feeling with clothes from GANT. The fabrics are nice even at the lower end (PHP 2,250 – 2,950) and it gets much better once you go up to their Made in Portugal line (PHP 4,950). Pique shirts start at PHP 1,650 and go up to PHP 2,950 for the ones made with Pima cotton. And if we compare the prices to their web shop we’re getting a very good deal here.
I like how their clothes fit as they are great for men with broad shoulders but are looking for a slim fit. Based on my experience trying different fits and sizes a Medium EZ-Fit (Slim) shirt is similar to their Large Fitted (Extra Slim) shirt with the latter slightly longer. I highly recommend their pique shirts for their very flattering fit which makes them great for tucking in.
Here are a couple of shirts with their details.
Embroidered logo on the chest.
Love how the button-down collar rolls.
Detail on cuff placket.
Pearlized buttons with details on the sides.
GANT has two boutiques as of this writing: SM Mall of Asia and Shangri-la Plaza Mall.
